Suggestions welcome on how to achieve subtle contrast to emphasis architecture using paint?
Interested in warm colors that aren't to dark. Possiblities: brown, gray's, gray greens, and lighter colors for window trim.
Any suggestions here on how to achieve it and colors to use?
Visual background: Areas to be painted at the front of the house are: deck fascia - 10" width, house fascia, Trim around an 8 foot fleetwood aluminum sliding glass door & 2 fixed floor to ceiling windows. Prefer to stay iwth lighter colors for main wood beam and window trim.
a tongue & groove exterior side wall thats a continuation from the interior, 3 hortizontal 2x 12" boards that intersect a beam extending that runs from interior to the exterior, above the deck. I hope the description helps but do forgive if it's unclear. Thanks!!

Hi Mark,
Sure I could photograph the front of my house with my iphone, or digital camera but unfortunately I'm technically challenged. No clue how to post it on the website. The project will also include a brand new deck and landscaping in front of the deck! Zencat.
