Just curious if anyone has seen this table before or can ID it. Or is it just a generic department store table?

no clue
The base looks strong and handsome.
The top looks cheap and generic. Laminate?
But sometimes at a good price a laminate is easy to clean
and the circle is sweet. Fits a small kitchen space nicely. How it fits your needs and budget is important.

Simply I like it.
I see these once in awhile at local thrift shops. If I'm not mistaken they come with black vinyl chairs with a similar base most likely from the 70's. I'd say its a no-name but still bets Walmart crap.

It looks like a mix of
these three tables, style-wise:

There's one in my garage...
Blonde, but otherwise identical. It's very solid but very crude up close: woodprint formica, including on the 4 base pieces (none of which are structural--a fifth central column supports the top)--mine has matching gaudily upholstered pedestal chairs--label on bottom of chairs: "Chromcraft '69.....Senatoria, Miss." Fun but very cheesy....

Oh I'd love to see the chairs someday
If you ever get around to taking a photo, that'd be fun to see.

That is it, Chromcraft! I found the chair except I've only seen them in black. Photobucket is down right now so I attached the link. The table with this chair isn't the one I've seen but still similar. If I find an exact I will post.

Now the same qustion for a similar chair
I found this chair today but just cannot identify it - it has a part of a tag on the bottom, the California registry tag, with a LA zip code (90059, Compton area) and a number "52" (as in chair model number - 52 or 520)
I believe Chromcraft is out of the midwest, and it appears this chair was made in Los Angeles, so while my first guess would have been Chromcraft, now I'm thinking not.
Incidentally, a company in Compton (at the time) was the one who produced the chrome base for some of the Miller/Eames chairs.

WOW MY MOUTH HAS LITERRALY DROPPED
I hope you have insurance on this table as its a very early design of Charles Miller he is a very well known and extremely sod after designer ,and his pieces are extremely rare this marvelous table was designed in 1952 ,and I have only seen two in the past ,and the auction results were 5 to 7 thousand ,and it got a whopping 8 thousand. I have to ask you what is the condition of this piece ,and Where did you ever find such a gem.I know that my fellow addicts here will truly appreciate the flawless design and such attention to detail. Are you thinking of sending it to an auction house might I recommend wright20.Please let me know with whatever you decide as I would like to ad this piece to my personal collection.
