Picked up this chair a few years ago at a dumpster, didnt think much of it until recently when I was going to put it on Craigslist.
I am trying to figure out if this is a Wegner, or some subsequent impersonation (like the Yugoslavian ones). I cannot find any markings on the chair, but that might be because the finishing is pretty messed up.

As far as I know the Wegner is cane and the yugoslavian chair is string.
I just picked up two of the Yugoslavian chairs myself and I'm really happy with them, very generous size, good looking and way more comfortable than I expected.

Looks like yours
is done in paper cord, which is much nicer than the cotton rope that many have. I don't think the cotton rope wears as well as paper cord. (Paper cord is very tough!) It also seems to stretch more over time than paper cord does.
The chair may be marked on the inside of the front rail. I just redid two of these and I think that's where they were marked.
The wood and the finish on these chairs isn't as nice as a Wegner chair. It's hardwood but it's always got a walnut stain that looks like stain, plus a glossy lacquer finish that shows every little scratch and scuff over the years. But if you get one that isn't too beat up, it can look pretty good.
There are differences in the frame styling from the Wegner chair, too.
