Hello! I live in Munich and bought this chair today at a second hand shop for $25. I am thinking it might be a Yugoslavian Danish modern knock-off, but this is only from internet browsing. It had some hideous late 70s early 80s pastel fabric on the cushions, and I cut if off to this grey striped linen-like fabric. Everything is unmarked.

Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, it is unmarked.

In the US,
at any rate, this would be called "Danish Modern" -- and this chair would be one of a great number of generic examples of the type.

Thanks for the responses so...
Thanks for the responses so far. How does one go about identifying the type of wood of which it is made? Also, the original surface of the wood (as was protected under the cushion) is fairly dark. But (as you can see from one photo) it is a bit spotty in another locations. Is it ok for me to clean it and if so any advice as to with what?
