Thanks to everyone
I want to say thank you to everyone that has replied. It looks like it is going to a new home, and I'm sure everyone here is hoping there are no small chilren in it, looking at it from through all of your eyes, I guess it could be kinda scary. Anyway, my hope of putting to high of a reserve price didn't work, so gone it will be. And just when I was going to start displaying all my 50's and 60's art pottery vases. Lets hope he can live with them!!

my take
it has artistic value, but i don't personally care for the piece ... unlike much of the stylized animal stuff typical of raymor and others [as shown below and just three posts up].
i do like playing with the geometry of natural forms, but the present exhibit in question just doesn't do it for me.
