Hi
Not a great deal of reference!
there is a Design magazine article. see link, and a few inclusions in the metalworkers 'year book's for the late 60's/ early 70's
maybe somebody else has more?
My uncle worked for them, so I can get him to identify most things if you have a pic (and that's what you need of course !)

Many thanks for the input. I would greatly appreciate your uncles input on a particular item, however I would also love to find a book or reference material. Would you prefer I post a link to an image for your uncle to see ? I can do this tomorrow.

Robert, here's the link to the table. Looking forward to your uncles input, however the problem is that I wouldn't know a piece of Merrow associates rosewood and chrome from an Archie Shine. So I'm still on the hunt for reference material. This particular boardroom table is 3 metres long, just to give you some idea of the scale.

Dear Paulanna, Thanks for the input. I'll go down that path for a while and see what I dig up. Infact I may even begin a new thread now that I have images and see if I can't actually identify this one. My real concern is that in the rosewood and chrome area so much of it is not labeled ( or lost its label ). This usually means there is a tendency to just call it Merrow Associates and generally much of the information then, when trawling the Internet is contradictory. Not easy, it's the hard reference I'm looking for..

Robert1960 - do you know if Merrow sold only into the domestic market - which is what I'd presumed - or if they did contract too?

Hi Paulanna
They did a lot of contract work too
my feeling is that that is a Merrow table,
i'll send the picture to my uncle and see what he says..
(it involves my cousin printing off my email and taking it to him ..he's not of the computer generation 😉 )
