Hello, I'm the proud owner of a Marcel Breuer long chair. I've loved these since I was a child as my Grandmother had two of them in her sitting room. The one I currently own has been in the family a long time but no one can quote remember where it came from or how long it’s been with us. I've been researching these but there is very little published regarding licenced manufacturers from the mid-century. Looking at the fabric type and colour, we have come to the conclusion that this one might be as early as the 50s and as late as the 70s. There are no stamps or labels, but an unusual feature is a fifth screw in the rear supporting piece. All other examples I have found only sport 4.Does anyone have a view on where and when this might have been made?
