Eliot Noyes designed this telephone table for IBM in the late 50s. Neither of my two examples have any maker's marks (except for those on the off-the-shelf casters), and I've been unable to discover who manufactured them. I don't even know whether they were built in-house by IBM or contracted out.
The manufacturer is occasionally claimed to be Knoll, but I haven't seen that attribution backed up by any reputable sources. None of my books or web searches have been helpful.
Anyone know for sure who made these tables?
