A few days ago I bought a 3-place Herman Miller "Chicklet Sofa" (Ray Wilkes design) for a mere $50. "What a steal !" I thought to my self as I made arrangements to pick it up later with a larger vehicle.

Well, I returned to find that some %$#@!* RAT BASTARD really DID steal it by taking the "sold" tags off of it and buying it (again) with another cashier.

OK...I just needed to vent. Thanks all for listening/reading. I feel better now.

You would think that the employees of the store would not be so careless. If I worked a thrift shop(I'd only guess), I'd still have enough respect for myself to do my job well. Of course you can blame the fuh-car that changed the tag, but I fell that careless employees are just as responsible. Sorry for your loss, I hope you at least got the $50 back.

what i usually do is take all...
what i usually do is take all the parts you can (cushions, covers, etc, etc), so no one else wants it or sells it.

To catch a thief.
Any chance the guy bought it with a credit, debit card or check? Should be some way to identify him if he did. I think it's worth looking into.
