Also knocked off the Barcelona chair, the shakers, and Nakashima, so Maloof finds himself in quality company.
Personally I think Moser has gone off the deep end...their latest 10k chair is a weird conglomeration of cast metal and sculpted wood and satiny upholstery. Which to me seems like lots of work just for the sake of work.

is the design director. They're trying anything and everything (including all the influences you named, and more) to see what will stick. It must be nice to have a handsome R&D budget. . . !
