Hi team,
You helped me once in confirming that a pair of Wassily chairs were in fact real. Thank you so much!! I have one more request for help - I have an Eames-like lounge chair from a storage unit, but it doesn't have a maker tag on it. I'd love to find out who made it. I've looked for all of the distinguishing features and it actually has all of the Eames characteristics that I've heard about, but believe it's not a real given how much I paid for it.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Nicole

Nicole – it does not look real to me. The large armrests give it away. It also appears that one of the armrest joints is failing. I would be weary of sitting in it until it is repaired.
I suggest unscrewing one of the feet (i.e. "glides") – authentic glides are embossed "Domes of Silence." I imagine that replicas would same something else. You may also find a manufacturer's mark under the cushions - I suggest removing one and digging around inside the cushion until you find a tag.
Good luck!
