My fiance and I went to an antique store we've frequented today out of boredom. She ended up finding a fantastic Charles Harper lithograph! It's hand signed and numbered 1160/1500 and dated 1974. The image area is roughly 14X16. I'm pretty jazzed. She only paid $45 too! I don't know what it's worth but I know that's a good price. Anyone have an idea?

The name is "flamboyant feathers"
Question: The print appears to be in the original frame. It's wooden and painted the same orange as the bird's belly. Were these sold in frames or would this have been the work of the owner?
I want to know just in case I might want to reframe in the future. I don't plan on it, but just in case.

I really dont know anything about this specific piece its a good quality designer/decorator type item,very nice, often I frame over frames if they are thin...its probably original,no harm in reframing this type of item if you want but dont cut it down.
