Has anyone here used Lucifer Lighting for recess lights?

I'm looking for the lowest profile recess lights I can find for a kitchen project. Lucifer has a DL16 housing that can mount in less than 6" of height (inside ceiling), and has a rim that mounts completely flush with no raised bevel (DL11Z-1). So you just have a 1.75" hole with light coming out of it.

Unfortunately, I went to price them, and my jaw fell off. I can install lightolier for a $100. Doing the same job with Lucifer's hardware runs over $1000. I'm pretty sure the salesman at the upscale light center I went to was high-balling me, but all the same... I cannot even find a reseller that lists their prices on a website, so it is hard to comparison shop. Lucifer caters to galleries, and the like. They don't push volume in the consumer space.

Does anyone know of another very low profile recess pin light?

USA lighting
I ended up ordering much more resonably priced recessed pin lights from USA Lighting.
They have a slightly larger aperture (2") but a smaller trim than the lucifer lighting. The drawback is the 1/8" raise to the rim. I really wanted something that was completely flush.
I'm going to see if my contractor can't recess the rim into the plaster.

RSA - Lynx
After I ordering, I found another brand/model in RSA lighting's highend "Lynx" line that mounts flush, with no trim at all, just a 2" hole- you apply a "mudding compound" around the opening that you then paint to match the ceiling. For one, they're even more absurdly expensive than the lucifer lighting models, the hardware would run about $2200 for the 4 lights (the catalog case study is for a jewelry store), and secondly, they are only available with a black baffle, and I only want a white baffle... so there.

Arrived with one broken fixture.
The packaging was terrible, and it had consequences- One of the four fixture housings arrived smashed up pretty bad. I will get them to exchange, and report back on their customer service.
On a positive note, the trim is nice/barely there.

So far so good...
The customer support was prompt and friendly. They said they would send me out a new one, and didn't ask for the old one back. The same day I got a notice from UPS saying it is already in the mail.
Use the link to see the image I gave them showing the damage:
