I'm looking for the suspension lamp for my dinning table. So I need a good light, but not as strong as for a working table.

Does anyone know if the Luceplan Titania gives enough of light for my needs?

Thank you !

If you like it, get it
but to me, it looks a bit distracting. Call me a traditionalist, but I got a Poul Henningsen PH5 pennant in black, rather than the more typical white. Love it.

Other ideas?
Thank you for you suggestion.
I have a quite small living room - sqare 4.5m X 4.5m, so it is furnished very simply. I have the Le Corbusier dining table, the classic one, LC06 (I think - le long one, 90cm / 235cm), with simple chairs, and I need some long, modern-looking lamp for it.
Any ideas?
And my question is still - do you know is the Titania light is enough for the dining table?

Barry has a pendant, not a pennant. . . but he might have a pennant, too !

To answer your question...
Yes, the Titania is build for two 250 watt T10 lamps. Which is about 8 times what you really need. Put in two compact fluorescents T5 18 watt of a colour you like and it will be more than enough to enjoy your meal. Bon appétit

PENNANTS
DO come to mind, this is a rather **fest*ive*/act*ive*** lighting choice...one mans meat,as they say.

Nice !
Barry, nice your "pennent", classic and modern one. But I can't imagine one round lamp above this table. One long thing, or two or three spots.

lol! I rememeber years ago I was a security guard at a shopping centre re-furb outside of London and some of the lights pictured at the top were delivered, somehow they got confused with the old lights and me and a bricllayer happily spent some time chatting and breaking them apart into a skip, something didn't feel quite right about it at the time.

Yeah !
It's decided: I will buy this lamp. I adore it. Hope that it will be nice with my Le Corbusier table!

I have it !
The Titania pendant is already installed above my dining table. It gives a great light - bright, well spreaded on all the surface of the table. The lamp is practicaly invisible when turned off - light, transparent, floating object in aluminium. When it's turned on, it becomes a great designed object, some kind of levitating UFO! I simply adore my new lamp!
I baught my Luceplan Titania lamp on Ebay. There is few online outlet vendors, proposing about 4 lamps by day. I payed Luceplan package.
