I was given this trunk a few years back from a WEALTHY friend of mine. I did some work for her and she no longer wanted it so she gave it to me. It is a large LV trunk; I believe it has been restored (possibly in a less than desirable way). It is in storage right now, so I cant give the exact measurements but its a large one! I am curious of how much its worth, as I could use the money and would like to sell it for a reasonable price, without getting ripped off.Any insight would be extremely appreciated Thanks Logan

Why don't you use it for storage, instead of paying to keep it in storage?

It does look restored, which will probably greatly affect value. Similar trunks have been sold over the years by Skinner (and I'm sure by other auction houses too), but they seem to sell only original unmodified ones. Check out the website skinnerinc.com and send them  your pictures and ask if they are interested in selling it at one of their auctions. My guess is they won't be because of refinish, but they can at least verbally authenticate it for you and give you a verbal value quote.
