Umanoff
That's Umanoff...with an M. I saw that clock too -- it's a nice one. Congrats on winning (and good luck fixing) it.

interesting thread too btw.
Perhaps the best cure for a broken heart is to love again ?
Jason Munn (of the Small Stakes) has some posters you might like at a (fixed !) price of 25 USD. I recently bought this one below:

I found the poster in an old copy of Graphis - designer was Gottlieb Soland - may help if you're trying to track down another copy. Swiss posters of this period were (and are) considered important so more likely to have been kept - hence a better chance there'll be another out there....van sabben poster auctioneers in Amsterdam are well worth keeping an eye on as they are more open than some to postwar posters.

Auction sniper
Maybe some finds that the use of Auction Sniper is not fair-play, but while I was trying to buy my first object on ebay, I always lost in the last 10 seconds! So I understood that most people on ebay use those Auction snipers - they decide the maximum bid and the 5 seconds lead time. The automatic bider will sent his maximum bid at the last moment, so the others will have no time to react. I could buy the desired object in my first attempt!
You can try this service for free, 3 times.

Dang, I wish I could have used this on Craigslist!! I'm kicking myself, I saw an ad for 5 Niels Möller chairs and table for $50 bucks. Gone. Kicking myself, hitting my head on the wall. Ha-ha, oh well. Justsnipe.com is good too. Still sad.
