I'm looking for a variation on a Lazy Susan that would work on a long breakfast table. Instead of just rotating on an axis, it needs to convey down the table, curve around, and convey back to the other end of the table. I want everyone to be able to get at the butter, jam and maple syrup without passing it, or having to put out multiple servings. Does such an elongated Susan exist?

What you describe sounds...
What you describe sounds almost like a conveyor belt. I was once in a Japanese restaurant, the location of which is lost in the mists of time, someplace in Germany I believe, circa 1985 and they had a teak wood trolley/conveyor appartus on each long farm style table ( 12 to 14 feet long each) where individual tasting dishes, condiments, drinks etc. were conveyed down the center and back to the other end. Quite clever, but more of a gimmick.
On a lighter note, my sister in law is named Susan and I've never met anyone quite as lazy, but I don't think she is what you are looking for.

choo! choo!
you simply need to mount an electric "HO" scale (oval)train track on top of your table and use the cars to mount your main dish and hold all contiments!
Also being electric, all you have to do is push the button for the train to make a pass for service.
Good luck!!!

Why not...
Take a cool serving tray that has a sufficient lipped edge to keep stuff from falling over and epoxy small rubber casters on the bottom of it? Then you can just whiz the tray back and forth down the length of the table! Sounds like fun actually!

Interestingly someone else mentioned the same...
kind of a conveyor in a Japanese restaurant. But they also could not recall it. Drat!
Olive, you're suggestion really freed me up as usual.
I know the military uses plate sized hover craft to fly around inside of buildings with suspected hostiles inside to take pictures, deliver explosives and disperse chemicals. Perhaps I can get one of these that can carry condiments and fly it around to whomever needs some. 🙂
