Mid century design is well and truly mainstream now. Not restricted to urban design communities, its everywhere from small town auctions to car boot sales.
I just wonder why 50's and 60's flooring never caught on. You see formica dressers and marine ply everywhere. But you never see finger parquet, muhuhu herringbone block or teak strip.
Does flooring cost to much to install? Do people want Victorian terraced houses with pine boards and non contemporaneous modern furniture?
Would love to see a council flat or pre fab and an owner with an eye for detail.

Oh, and of course, there was the cursed mid-century wet room equivalent: vinyl sheet flooring.
aside from floor covering's,
Men need to consider wearing a jacket/sport coat when having dinner, just like good old dad did in the good old days. And the tragic attire that I see when boarding an airplane (even in 1st class)....oh my god! I need a strong drink.
Always,
Aunt Mark
British slang, Mark...
I don't even come across properly on the interwebs now.
