I have a quick question: I've spotted a limed teak sideboard, it's the first one i've ever seen for sale and I was wondering if anyone knows whether limed teak is seen as a popular finish? Is it rare and in demand, or is it seen as the least desirable finish?

I've never thought too much...
I've never thought too much of "pickled" finishes. The good thing about them is they're easy to get rid of.
Looks like a great piece though. I'd buy it.

Yes, as far as I can tell
Didn't know they ever did a limed version though?

Interesting
It's not bad... Reminds me of oak with the soap finish. Might look better when used in moderation rather than on an entire large piece.

I imagine
it is better in person, but from here it looks like a case that has been thoroughly sanded and the dust left on.
