I purchased and reviewed Tony and Claës Lewenhaupt's Crosscurrents Art-Fashion-Design 1890-1989 for Rizzoli. A good read.
Shopping at Neiman Marcus the last forty years will give the same perspective and is more enjoyable (living in style as opposed to reading about style). Philippe Starck's Peau D’Ailleurs fragrance for Perfumes y Diseño debuts this month Neiman Marcus (Bvlgari works for me).

I purchased the Carlo Mazzeri and Anselmo Vitale Avio stainless steel tray for International 4008 by Alessi 115-35, JC (Juan Cristobal) Karich Punch limited edition white ceramic finish for beginners coffee mug for Karich Design (not to be confused with commercial Fisticup for Fred) and the Philips digital photo display 9FF2 today at Goodwill for a around five dollars. This is good.

I love that mug. I picked up a bunch of things in the last week. One of them was a sweet Laurel mushroom lamp, which magically exploded in my hands this morning as I unpacked it from the truck. It was curiously cold outside, and I think the temp caused it? Dammit.

A vintage AJ table lamp for Louis Poulsen.
There is a sticker inside but I am not sure how old it is.

I found and purchased this Italian 25cm (H) white ceramic baluster vase (as shown in the identification thread). The label reads "___ Imports Made in Italy". Manufacturer and/or distributor is unknown. A good user.

I just picked up these chairs, I couldn't resist their 80's vibe and strange shape! They're very heavy and the ostrich leather is beautiful and supple. No idea as to their origin or maker, but I like them. The layered bentwood frame is also interesting. They are much bigger than they look in the pictures!

Spanky,
$1.35 net. Intended for flowers as gift. The vase is truly the vessel and not the object (better than Teleflora).
I appreciate your help. I know Pier 1 as a pedestrian retail operation (surprising still in business). More than likely all current inventory is manufactured in PRC (I will never know).
Again, thank you.

I recognize this two labels:
1. Tiffany & Company Sintra ceramic vase
2. Gunnar Ander crystal bird for Lindshammar Glasbruk Sweden
Both items are now mine for a few dollars from Goodwill. This is good.

Grendel The Cat,
Nice find. Excellent "day to day" cookware. Make a fabulous meal with these pieces.
Today I got a "previously enjoyed" Michele de Lucchi First chair for Memphis-Milano. The painted label indicates a 1984 production. Later versions have an affixed metallic type label. This is not a Goodwill find.
This chair is heading south to the other home as an entry hall seat.

minimum,
Nice acquisition. My sister gave me hers, original to our family, to add to my small Braun collection.
Braun designed and manufactured so many unique smalls making collecting inexpensive, fun and interesting.
Again, congratulations. Nice "bright" white finish.

Back at Goodwill today I purchased the Jens Quistgaard cast iron with brass spacers candle holder for Dansk Denmark IHQ. The value is under $5.00.
