Thanks Kate
There'll be lots of info on constructivism out there, and any books on the Bauhaus or de Stijl are de facto also books about constructivism. Also there's a very nice (and expensive) book called Toys of the Avant Garde you may enjoy.

I was thrilled to find it spanky. A local collector/dealer had it buried in his basement when I found it...at a thrift store price:)

just love this
a vintage stuffed horse toy. Tremendous fabric. Not sure if the tonal variation is staining? It looks rather intentional....Missing some mane, I think. Doesn't matter. It has "it"
Let's see if the link works (using google photos)
EDIT - Worked. Not sure if it is hand made or not? Has a zipper suggesting manufactured. Wife loves it.

Greetings.
I recently acquired a Rosenthal (Raymond Loewy designed, I guess) dinner bell that matches my everyday Rosenthal Raymond Loewy dishes perfectly. The ball is composed of plastic like my face. I makes a lovely simple **ping** when needed. I plan to use it tomorrow at high noon, gently waving the well sculpted slender bell-o-china (one time) with a satisfied look on my face. Probably wearing pink. Oh, what ever happened to the dinner bell?
Best,
Aunt Ping

I just got this little compact g plan sideboard, it's very sweet and suits the space perfectly. I also picked up this lovely Herbert Terry angle poise and the metec lamp with Bakelite, shabby but very lovely!

Totally thrilled to have this crazy rare and crazy cool Finn Juhl library table, a Quistgaard Viking bowl, and the large Juhl teak bowl.

Hi Lowe9,
I'm pretty sure that the lamp was cranked out by Artemide in the early '90's. SDR has the original bulb...or maybe not.
Best,
Aunt M.

Aunt Ping aka Mark,
Only those with savoir faire and joie de vivre would recognize and have use of a dinner bell. Black Armani Collezioni will work when pink is unavailable (it does for me).
The Lalique Sparrow dinner bell has been in my collection for decades and the Luc Lanel Ondulations table bell for Christofle is a more recent addition. I prefer small size and material of the Christofle piece.

An all-rosewood Erik Buck stool to go with my four teak ones. Not sure just yet what the game plan is for keeping/selling. Might be a while before I would be able to find another 3 all-rosewood for a reasonable price. However, I have a hard time selling good Danish rosewood pieces, as they are getting harder and harder to find in the wild.
