hi everybody, have a look at this striped couple 🙂
one is Rex Chair by Niko Kralj (it's original, made in jugoslavia in the 50es, not a riedition)
the other is a belgian étagèere that looks pretty close to Tjerk Reijenga's Pilatro, but has some differences... I will do a specific id post.
do you dig the couple?
cheers,
A

I have that exact shelf in my garden.  With plants on it. I think the Tjerk Reijenga shelveshave rounded corners?

AndreaS, does that bookshelf disassemble? What are the dimensions of it?

Today I got a Nissen teak tray, and a pencil signed photo by surrealist photographer Vilem Kriz, dated 1967.  I paid less than $2 for both.

Waffle, good to hear that! btw, where do you live/where did your shelf came from? yes, Pilastro shelf had rounded corners, that's why I'm almost sure it has to be something else.

That is very nice for "nothing special"
Recent acquisition with the same sort of knobs (Hans Wegner, Andreas Tuck, AT-305, all teak, with both drop leaves):

Do you have any desk lamps in mind for your Wegner desk?

No lamps in mind. Do you have a suggestion?

I don't really have anything specific in mind.  I was wondering what some good choices would be for a large work surface like that, so that if you put the drop leaves up you might be able to light the entire surface area if you needed to.  Maybe a pair of lamps...or something with two light fixtures, so you could add more light if needed.

Well, I remodeled the office with a ceiling light, so I probably don't need a lamp.  (A good thing, I think, but I could be wrong). Also, note the photos were just take in a spare, dark corner of the "drawing room," and not in my office, which needs a bit of re-arranging to accommodate such a large desk.

Got this all original early walnut LTR. Most I've been excited for a find in a bit!
