I haven't picked the carpet up yet, but interesting that you suggest I put the underside up. The carpet guy said to me, at this point, it's reversible. Also, the identification of the carpet has become a bit of an argument between the guy who cleaned it, and a friend of mine's dad. The dad says it's Caucasian Karatchoph (which it does look like) carpet and the carpet guy says it's Shiraz Qashqai. The makers were nomadic so I guess anything's possible. I don't care either way.

Before you get too drooly, they have a Modernica sticker. And the condition is so good, it must have been put in a house as a staging item or something and then immediately taken down by the new buyers. As for size. I have one last idea as to where it could go or it will be deemed as just too big! Will let you know 🙂

A nice thrift store find, about 9 inches tall - I think it's wenge.
