Scandinavian Chip and Dip Bowl
I bought this cool large crystal chip and dip bowl that I'm very excited about (cuz I love chips and salsa/avocado dip!) No label on it but I'm pretty sure it's Scandinavian like Iittala or something similar. The glass is very shimmery and high quality looking and the shape is quite modern and freeform! I can't want to start using it.
If anyone knows the origin to this please let me know.

Very nice Woody. Reminds me a bit of Jack Bilbo's work.

one of those things
I will rarely pass up, good patio furniture. It's just something I have to accept.
Only got 2 of these, wish there had been 20. Redwood slats, nice solid frames. The brackets that hold the slats to the frame are copper. These will outlast me
used to be white, badly painted cream. White was a better option....
Good lines I think

this morning I bought
a wooden ice bucket (with perfect plastic liner..but no lid), and a Polish glass vase (Tarnow) from my fav haunt. Total was less than 5 Dollars. I am dedicating a portion of my condo to Ray Eames, as shown.
Always,
Aunt Mark

Schoolhouse Electric Broome Chair
I copy ALL of you, and one of you showed it. The company is in Portland. I probably made a mistake. My mother is disabled and it just didn't work out for her as a dining chair (Gueridon table). I should have followed Whitespike's advice and gotten the Saarinen Executive Chair for her. I'm ordering DCW Walnut Friday (HM sale). I saw DCW's around the large oak Gueridon somewhere and realized it's the only chair for it as far as looks go, but too late. [Edit: my mother sits in an Eames shell--it's the best chair I've found for her.]
The Schoolhouse chair is our piece I find myself studying the most--by far. It's in the living room with a red boucle Womb.

I'm thinking
Robin Williams in "One Hour Photo". (The furthest away guy to be exact)
Woody, you seem to have found an endless source of interestingly weird paintings that always have some real edge to them.
Is it just your keen eye, or do you live near some kind of arts program?

$25 TABLE
Just finished cleaning up the $25 rosewood coffee table. Was a disaster when I bought it, but cleaned up nicely.
