That is one good charity thrift you have Aunty. Don't give out the address or it will be blitzed by pickers nabbing the good buys and then asking for your autograph.
Drove over a mountain pass through a freak mid-may blizzard for these. I think it was worth it.
worth the drive
if you ask me. That bowl is sublime.
On the not so sublime front...
picked these up today. 2 of them. They are made out of cast aluminum. Round windows on 5 sides. Flicker bulbs. Old fashioned plugs. Must weigh 20 lbs each. Barry White's estate sale must have been in Oregon.

Sweet table.
I like brass. I was sure we weren't ever going to see it again after builders ruined it with those crap faceted glass light fixtures they put in every home until the 00's. But it is making it's return. And your table is the reason why. It's just lovely isn't it?
Last thing I acquired was a set of Sibast dressers. A 77 inch beast and a smaller one. Sadly no night tables. About perfect condition.
so this morning
I grabbed this odd porcelain fruit??? bowl from the local charity resale store. I'll probably re-donate it next month.
Drinks anyone?

ps the new sales volunteer was wearing a wonderful vintage Lilly Pulitzer shift (dress) in the same pattern as the shorts that I was wearing. We fell in love for a moment.
.
This morning after breakfast, I stopped next door to the local charity resale store and the sweet old the gals were saving this lamp for me. It was less than 10 dollars. It is labeled Pace...or something like that. I'll shorten the cord tomorrow.
Praise Resale,
Aunt Mark
ps lightbulb and a hug or two included, no extra charge!
