I really like the alabaster bowl. Her dog must have been really well cared for.
I also like your copper piece. Sometimes kitsch can add that unexpected surprise to a room (especially outdoors). I am not sure if I like how close it is to the light fixture though. I think it needs to drop down a little. It feels as if the two items are fighting for the same space. Hopefully, I am explaining myself well enough.
I love your sense of adventure. I wouldn't expect anything less from you!
hi waffle.
Auction starts April 11th. I already have a Chevrolet collector in the mid-west wanting to purchase (at a slight profit). A collector friend tells me to hold it for a couple of years (in a/c storage). I'll keep you posted.
Best,
Aunt Mark

That's tempting,
but as a friend pointed out, I paid about the same for it as a new 2014 (loaded) Impala retails for. It was a no-brainer. It does need some slight fine tuning (note hood alignment in photo). I don't think that it's auction ready, so I will probably keep it and store it with some other crap in a garage (a piano and a riding lawn mower). It's like driving a brand new 1964. Very powerful motor, very crude handling.
Thanks for the car compliment,
Aunt Mark
ps interior is red vinyl.
Mark...
I can only assume Mr. Chompers will be the next proud user of the bowl? He seems like a cat who needs an alabaster bowl.
...and if anyone needs a 1964 Ford for their driveway, I'll make a fellow DAer a smashing deal. I wish I could keep it, but I'm not really a car girl... Under 12,000 miles, every inch original.
