EamesHead, maybe you could convince glassartist to send you a simple side tracing of that neato lounge -- it would save the time and trouble of arriving at the correct profile, and it would respect the work of the designer ?

I am not good at asking for favors I guess...
...but it would be more respectful of the original design. But then why stop there? I could also ask glassartist for detailed photos of the dowel cross-pieces that stabilize the sides, along with the exact measurements of the slats! And overall width.
Heck glassartist, why not just go ahead and send me the chaise?
A map of the edge is a great idea though. Thank you for the thought SDR.
