Another version of 'Belarti'
Hey Waldorf, Here's my similar table with a different base, and another one with the similar base and a different top. Both of these are unsigned. I think they were fabricated in Belgian, and that Belarti was not a real person, but a signature used by the manufacturer. Whatever?it doesn't take anything away from them.

I dig VKG
A bedroom set consisting of mahogany dresser, mirror, night tables and twin bed frame of VKG for brown saltman sat in a resale shop for two weeks before i bought it. It was discounted 20%. Surprising.

J. Belarti was the pseudonym of the Belgian ceramic artist Julien de Covemaeker (Oostende 1927 - 2008).
Every table by J. Belarti is signed.

Just got this Craft Associate...
Just got this Craft Associates/Adrian Pearsall modular seating unit for my office. The seats and "table" elements can all be moved around. Kind of a poor man's version of the Hans Olsen design.

Always,
Aunt Mark

Many thanks jesgord.
And the last thing that I acquired (this morning) was a huge bill for a new engine for my late model Benz. Coming home from dinner/drinks last eve, got stuck in a flash flood...and the beasty 6.3 liter engine didn't like the water. A sad day for my insurance company.
Drinks and/or advice anyone?
Aunt Mark
ps dinner/drinks for two $225.
engine $26,600.
ruined Gucci kicks $550.
experience priceless.

many thanks, waffle.
My local Benz dealer sent me home with a loaner car, and hinted that my poor car will probably be sent far far away. I will replace it next week, I guess.
Let's all have a drink on me,
Aunt Mark
ps the car only had 2130 miles. What a waste!! (2012 cls 6.3)
pss luckily, Aunt Mark had a nippy little beverage to sip (in the car) whilst waiting for the roadside assistance truck.
(edited to add a snappy of the soon to be ruined kicks). Bahahaha!

Jere wall sculpture
I bought both of these for twenty usd. I am not in love with either but they were tough to pass up.
I might take a card from Mark's book and hang the branch sculpture outside on the deck.
