not mid-mod...but
I bought the matching green urn..so now have 2...on my terrace.
Ho Ho Ho.
Aunt Mark
ps also picked up some adorable yet simple orange/pink welting toss pillows for the terrace. I just don't understand my wanting toss-pillows, yet I'm so critical of them in other's spaces. I need to ponder.
why not?

Walnut Rocker
A solid walnut rocking chair by designer John Kriegshauser.
When I saw his name burned into the underside of the seat, I actually found him online and got some terrific information about the chair.
It's from the middle 70's, and was one of about a dozen he made whilst teaching at the Kansas City Art Institute.
ChairLove KC
I lived in KC for 30 years, but just moved to Sarasota 6 months ago.
The designer is an architecture and furniture design professer in Chicago, now. He still designs incredible furniture, and uses wood exclusively. Super nice guy - sent me a nice email on the same day that I inquired.
I actually picked the rocker up at Retro Inferno before we left KC for Florida. There are no visible fasteners anywhere on it - it's a great piece.
teak o rama
2 plus loads of vintage teak and rosewood furniture parts from a former vintage importer that shut down his operation. mostly case parts, dining table parts, legs, cabinet pull out trays and shelves, and desk drawers. This first load nearly crushed my poor van. Perhaps I will build a Danish Watts tower.
Christmas in Canada!
Was lucky enough to spy this complete dining set on an internet auction site.
Have come across a few of the Kuypers sideboards before and tables with the typical pullout leafs but this is the one piece, reversed bevelled edge table with six legs no less. While not my particular taste I'm thinking of making it a wedding gift to my son and his lady to start them on a life-long mid century addiction.
Cheers to all!
