blocking?
There is usually some blocking visible on both ends of the solid core LTR's.
The sides are indeed smooth and continuous, but the shorter ends of these tables usually show five or six vertical separations where the different wood pieces are glued together. I don't see them in this photo.
EDIT: On second look, the blocking might be there after all. Just hard to tell from this photo.

do you know who the actual designer/manufacture is?....every other example of this table on the web attributes it to Greta Grossman.
someone felt confident enough to pay 1400.00 for the Greta Grossman "style" table at Icollector

No, sorry I don't know who...
No, sorry I don't know who made it unfortunately...
Yes, I agree it's a popular attribution, but this happens a lot. Dealers see a similarity to the designs of a famous designer and add their name to their listings. After enough people start to repeat the attribution, it almost becomes considered a "fact", until proven incorrect...
I always take online attributions with a pinch of salt, unless I know the seller is trustworthy (and most sellers are not, imho), or if I can access proper documentation...
I've seen many of these tables sell on Ebay and CL and believe you could probably get somewhere around $400-500 on ebay, so it's still a pretty good buy at $1!
