Can anyone tell me anything about this Lane coffee table? The serial number is 550111 and the style number is 997-32, however it's printed twice on the underside and over one of the 997-32 stamps is 900-32. The drawer, which is usable from both sides, has some small damage on one side (see photo), otherwise it's in great shape, a bit dirty. We just bought it off craigslist with the square table, serial 56811 997-92. Estimation of value?
Lane was and is a lower to mid-priced furniture brand, not without decorative possibility, but a fairly good jaunt from the high end. It looks like the face veneers are walnut. Monetary value is not very high, but it's not strictly junk either.
You might wipe it down with a damp clean cloth, next with a dry clean one. Don't worry about it too much, but get the water bottle off the table and use coasters.
