If I don't have work to do on Monday I usually find myself making my rounds to the local thrifts. Here's what I found today. Nothing special, but both are pretty darn close to Mint condition. The Mobilite is the second desk lamp I've found for $2 in as many weeks. It's not as cool as the Industrial Hi-Lite I found a couple weeks ago, but with the chrome and articulation it's cool enough. It's probably from the late 70's. I paid $14.99 for the table lamp. From the looks of it and the plug it's definitely from the 50's. It's in need of a better shade. I'll be keeping the table lamp and flipping the desk lamp.

I like the 50's style of the table lamp. I only have the one desk and I already have a nice little industrial lamp for it.
The Mobilite is cool enough looking that if I find a spot it looks good in I'll probably keep it. Just can't leave it plugged in...it hums even when not on. Electrical Vampire!
