L40 and Tubelight

I have a question for the interior designers.I'm looking for a lamp to hang above my table.
I have a tubelight from eileen gray.I saw the L40 lamp from rietveld and i was wondering if this two lamps would look good in the same interior.I want to know the opinion of someone that is not selling me the lamp.Thanks

I'd say yes..
I like both the lamps and they will fit together in the correct space. Do you have a picture of your residence, the rest of your furnishings is a big factor. Also, the table and chairs that the lamp is going above will determine if the L40 will fit the space....and all you wanted to know is if the two lamps will look good together and got all these questions

Thanks a lot...My main concern is that i don't have high ceilings in my livingroom.I want the lamp above a white formica table with metal base and 4 plaited metal chairs from the 70's(these were a gift and have green pads).The floor is slate black and the walls are white.Rest of my furniture is black leather,chrome and scrap wood.
