And for the Executive Chair?
How many yards is needed for the Saarinen executive chair? My wife and I recently inherited 10 of them that need to be reupholstered.
Also, these chairs were originally purchased in 1967 or 1968 and there is no original marking identifying them as Knoll. I have the original Knoll brochure, but one thing that is throwing me off is that the legs are black and in my research on line I haven't been able to find a match.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Jeremy

I'm not exactly sure the number of the Executive chair
but the Saarinen Knoll chairs:
68 takes 2 3/4 yards
71 takes 2 1/2 yards
72 takes 1 1/2 yards
hope this helps

For future reference
an Edward Wormley for Dunbar 90" sofa takes:
13 yards of fabric
2.5 yards of black upholstery fabric
2.5 yards of muslin
31 self-covered size #36 buttons
1400 staples
3 rolls of twin-size bed batting
33.5 yards, yes, you heard me, of self-covered welting
4 solid days of labor
Luckily, I was able to reuse the all of the foam and existing batting because it was still in great shape. I just recovered the old foam with a new thin layer of batting to give it a little loft.
Barry, you will get a kick out of this. This couch has been recovered three times (mine makes four). The second layer was the same Boris Kroll fabric on your loveseat.
I am still working on the cushions. I had to go stop and go out for the third time! to buy more welting and didn't finish today. Work in progress below.
