I found this Knoll chair reciently. I cannot find it anywhere on the internet. Is it because its really crappy or really rare? I am fairly new designer furniture, so excuse my lack of knowledge. It does have a paper label indicating its Knoll, and a sticker saying Art Metal Inc.
I would also like to know who designed it.
Alright this is going...
Alright this is going nowhere. Here's a photo of the back

Really crappy... or really rare?
Crappy would be overstating it-- but this chair isn't a particularly esteemed design, nor is it rare.
If the boss sat in a Saarinen 'Executive' armchair, perhaps the secretary was provided with this perfectly adequate number.
(I don't know who designed it, offhand-- sorry.)
If you look through the pages
of an old Interiors Magazine from about 1962, you'll see all sorts of apparently well made makers of office furniture to complete with the Knoll's and Herman Miller's.
Your chair could be Steelcase, etc.
Not bad, looks well made, but nothing special, designer-wise.
