I have a set of Kandya Jason Chairs by Danish designer Carl Jacobs - the metal legs version like these dated 1953. They don't have the Kandya label underneath and are missing the plastic tips on the feet. Mine seem to have silver metal tips on the end as part of the metal leg and I have only ever seen pics of these chairs with black plastic tips. Can anyone explain why?
And if anyone owns this chair do you find them comfortable to sit on?

I bought 4 chairs for 530$ from an auction site and on receiving them I am wondering if they are worth this much as 3 of chairs are slightly warped at the back and all have small splits in the wood where they have been stacked. The seller didn't list this at the time. I love looking at them but I don't find them that comfortable so I am considering reselling them on.
