Hi,
I Just bought a 1968 vintage tulip table and 6 chairs.
Chairs have the knoll international stamp at the bottom of the stand, so no doubt about these being originals.
The table however has no stamp, or at least, I can't find it.
The coating at the bottom of the stand is damaged, so maybe the stamp just disappeared with the coating.
The top is white laminate, the finish is exactly the same as a round original vintage tulip my mom owns, so it looks original. The size however throws me off, it's 63" x 47"
All the sizes I can find online are 78" or 96" x 47"
Can someone tell me if this table was ever produced in this size?
Or give me any more tips to tell whether it's an original?
Apparently the whole set was bought in 1968 by a the seller's parents, so I can't think why they would have bought original chairs but a knock off table, if it even was copied back then...
Thanks in advance
Go on photobucket
and download your pictures. Once they are downloaded you will be able to scroll over them and underneath each one of your pictures will be a number of options of url addresses. Copy the option that says "direct link".
Then just paste that url down at the bottom of your new post on here in the line that says "associated web images". You can put three pictures on each Design Addict post. If you have more than three, just add another post.
