Took me a while, but I finally got around to watching the recently restored print of The Whole Shootin' Match. It's so cool that Eagle Pennell thought it'd be a good idea to make a film like that while the studios were all doing sci-fi and cheesy comedies.
Thanks for the recommendation; I guess Last Night at the Alamo is next.
