Johnson-Carper Armchairs  

I recently purchased two midcentury armchairs at a flea market and then saw the label Johnson-Carper under the cushions. I've tried to find information on this company but am coming up with very little. I know they were in Roanoke, VA, produced furniture in the 50's and were also the designers of the furniture for I Love Lucy. I've seen their dressers, nightstands and desks pop up on here, etsy and eBay but not one armchair. Does anyone know anything about Johnson-Carper or their armchairs? I've tried calling local antique shops but they have never heard of the designer...
