Its not really a mass produced object, theres still a lot of craft happening at the top end of the market, I read an article on PP Moebler today and though they outsource a bit its amazing that such well known furniture comes from a really quite small operation.
I sat in one a few year ago, back support is minimal and I slid forward, not a successful sitting experince but a valid part of art history even so.
