which is not his usual style. C'mon Jeremiah, 'fess up! He's starring in a new reality TV show called Born Dealers. I, for one, can't wait to see it. I'm a huge Storage Wars addict and not too proud to admit it.
Congratulations, Jeremiah. Are you going to sell your gold shell on national tv?
Modesty plays no part, Riki...
Jeremiah knows better as he has to be aware of how he's received here. He is THAT dealer, if you will. The sociopathic salesman. Happy to sell any product for a profit, honestly or not. Seemingly unwilling to do the absolute basic research required. Oblivious to any input which doesn't agree with his bottom line. I believe my eldest son knows more about MCM than him. And he's seven. I wonder if he's sold those old Sears "George Nelson" cabinets yet. If not, maybe this will help.
Well done, Jeremiah.
Here's the
link with the dates/times, etc.
Lunchbox, you are being kind of harsh. He's young, ambitious and appears to have a great work ethic. Also, the last time we all called him to the carpet must have sunk in because he has been on his best behavior lately.
Besides, it looks like his dad is a hoot.

Jeremiah Here
To those that plan on watching the series, I thank you for your support and think you will really enjoy it. It's a family show featuring some really neat pieces and in each episode you'll see us buying, selling and trading. It's as real as real can be, doesn't follow a set formula as most shows in this genre do and will hopefully make you say 'i've never seen a show like that before'.
In Canada, Natural Born Dealers is on several times a week, with premier episodes on Monday nights at 10 (each episode is better than the last!).
In the States, Born Dealers premieres Nov 5th on Planet Green.
You can follow us on twitter.com/NatBornDealers and a daily blog at NaturalBornDealers.blogspot.com
I have been a member of Design Addict for several yrs now, and it has been a great way to connect others interested in design, as well as as a learning tool.
Again, I appreciate all of your support and help over the yrs.
and, to the few that, for whatever reason don't like me and/or question my integrity, i doubt that you've ever dealt with me, especially not in person. If you had, you wouldn't feel that way. I'm an honest, straightforward guy with a huge appreciation for design. I love to find neat pieces (before i was a dealer, i was just a collector) and pass them along to people that will appreciate them for years to come. That's what you'll see on the show.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and of course there will be critics of the show and myself, and I'll have to learn to deal with that. Just know that when someone that literally knows nothing about me says something like their child knows more about mid century design than I do, not only does it make me feel bad, it makes me not want to come back. Why would anyone post something so hurtful on such a friendly forum?

Wrong, Jeremiah...
I've attempted to deal with you in the past and base my opinions solely on that experience as well as some of your shocking ID posts here and shady listings online. If you didn't come off as such an arrogant twat in private, I might cut you a break in public. Others may be upset if you neglect to post here... I don't know. "But not I," said the lamb.
Natural Born Dealers, Sat 9 and Monday at 10
if by wacked out (and shady as your wrote above), you mean that I don't write a thesis for every ebay ad, you'd be correct. most of my descriptions or simple and to the point. in every ad i post my phone number and encourage potential buyers to call and ask as many questions as they like. if someone does take the time to call, it says to me that they're probably pretty interested. that's what I want, especially considering the number of people on ebay that just ask questions for the sake of killing time.
if you mean anything other than this, i'm sorry to say that you're very wrong.
