Thanks a lot for the quick response! Definitely seems like a nice mid-century desk and certainly worth the price. Any ideas on the chair? That one seems sort of generic to me, but nice none the less.

These are part of Dillingham's line of 'Esprit' furniture.
I usually see them attributed to Martin Borenstein which may or may not be true.
$75 is a steal.
Ive sold the few ive found for around $700 a pop and theyre incredible easy to refinish but usually only need a good oiling.

Judging by the photos, it looks in decent shape, a little dirty and the wood does look thirsty. Nothing that a little cleaning and a fresh oiling wouldn't take care of. I'll be picking it up this Saturday if all goes to plan. I'll bring a little extra cash with me in case the seller has a few extras they might be willing to part with.

The owner said he was 'informed' that the desk was worth significantly more than he originally thought. I say good for him. I'm not a dealer, nor do I really need another desk, so it's no big deal to me. Though perhaps I will be a little tighter lipped around here knowing there are dealers lurking for a 'steal'.
