Interesting chair for sale three-quarters of the way down this page. http://www.mapi-design.de/4.html
Apparently, a prototype for a chair by Knoll. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thoughts?

No clue
But in my opinion, it looks like one of the many contemporary mass-produced bent ply designs inspired by Jacobsen.
