All of these post are primarily related to American Modern/Danish but what about the other countries of the world. Infusion, is what makes modern, well modern. Here are some chairs that I picked up awhile ago. Are there any others out there? I do not see these everywhere are they rare? Blessings

I posted a message...
Aha!
I posted a message concerning japanese modernism. Great to see a piece by tendo! I looked on their website and saw that they still produce many pieces.
What do you make of this piece? How about quality?
How did you acquire this?
Regards

Tendo
I was thrifting it up at my hotspot and found the set for 75. The employees know me as "number 5" that is literally what they have named me. Apparently, there are 5 frequent customers who are always looking for specific items, I am the Mid Century Design Guy, a name that I am proud to hold. They also stated that many of the employees were vying to purchase them, however, store policy states that they can not buy anything until they are off of work. I was both amazed and excited. They have the same kind of stitching as an eames aluminum group office chair and the influence of traditional Japanese wood furniture. They will remain with us indefinitely.
We are trying to assemble a collection which includes American, California, Danish, and Japanese mid century furniture. All of the pieces are intact and were well kept by the previous owners. Additionally, the material is original. They are very well made and I highly recommend them to all mcm enthusiast. There is the lounge and ottoman on ebay right now( 4 day auction.

Nice stuff
to any woodworker, or a designer who appreciates what wood "wants" to do.
I hope your collection will "comprise" and not "compromise" . . .!

Heron ?
Is that the name of the chair ?
And what is the location and purpose of the building ? Ando is rightly regarded in the first rank of current world architecture, I think. He has single-handedly advanced the technology of exposed concrete surfaces. . .among other things.
