I have four of the Pepe Cortés Jamaica® beechwood* seat barstools for Amat-3. Yours appear to be the "real deal". I am sure you know that Amat is no longer in business and BD Barcelona is now producing the stool.
*The beechwood seats had a tendency to swell at the seat junction and bind in place (easily correctable by a skilled woodworker with a router) and this may be the reason this seat option was discontinued.

My Jamaica bar stools do not have any markings. As I deal directly with Knoll in East Greenville, Pennsylvania these are authorized products (produced by Amat-3). The seats are solid varnished beech wood not maple.
Be advised that the new version of Jamaica bar stools produced by BD Barcelona has had technical changes to the design (the diameter of the legs decreased) and some parts (feet) are not interchangeable.
Congratulations on your purchase. Stop asking questions and enjoy your new seating. Everything will taste better at the counter when you are seated in the Jamaica bar stool.
