Jacobsen 3103 chair question  

Looks weird to me
How are the legs attached to the chair?
The 3103 models I have seen have all had the plastic cover. I have never removed the cover on this particular model, but if the 3103 construction is anything like that of its siblings there should be a wooden disc glued to the shell, to hold the legs in place.

I agree that it looks weird and atypical. My guess is that the spacers around the legs are glued to the seat. The spacers themselves look weird as well... too big and possibly made of wood?? I shall inquire further.

I didn't even notice it before, but those are not original spacers.
