I've seen similar chairs out there. But the one I have has arms and a rope back. Very puzzled by it as it all looks factory and there are no indications of parts being removed. It dose have JK made in Denmark on the bottom. Could this have been a prototype??

is the mark for Brdr. Juul-Kristensen
The chair is Hans Olsen
