I picked up this Credenza for a silly price, at 2.7 meters long, it's huge. It has a solid marble top, which is removable, as are the legs.

Does anyone know anything about these? It looks 50's to me, that's about all I know.

I'd be glad to know what people think of the design too. All crisitism welcome (what am I letting myself in for?!)

I typically hate furniture such as this....but it is so beautiful :P...that wood and the marble top look amazing. how much did you pay for such an unusual and great looking piece?

OMG lol how could you ask 25 pounds for something that is that pretty to look at? not to mention something that big...where they charging you by the inch? LOL great find I really can not believe I am attracted to something with that many ornate curves.

I didn't ask for that, it's what they wanted on eBay
Their alternative was to take it to the skip. It's the 2nd time this year that I have found something amazing that was destined for the scrapheap. I guess some people just love Ikea?
