You can't really see the angle of the back to compare it with the side shot. It looks real and the Matricola tag confirms it.
I recently bought a Womb chair which has Knoll printed in the frame just under the arm rest. It also carries the Matricola sticker with 7 and 07 punched. Maybe Knoll didn't stamp the frames back in 01 but it certainly is a genuine piece.
