Here it is again.
I almost feel like the godfather of this thread.
I have to confess, as a good godfather, when someone dirty it, I'm tempted to send them to clean the hands...
I'm never bored reading about DAers here, and understand better the responses users give with these backgrounds.
But never said thanks for open it before to the father's thread. Thanks Killian!
Should ask for god-fathering...
I see that all the
nicest DAers post here -- makes me wonder why they let ME in ! It really is nice to have a "face" to put on some of those familiar names.
Last time I posted I was only 65; just had my 69th last week. Time flies when you're having fun ! Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving (in the US, anyway). Here comes Xmas . . .
Bumping this
thread to the top so that people can introduce themselves, and, more importantly, add the country where they live.
Patrick and Alix will add your country to your user name and then the rest of us will have an easier time answering questions about your furniture finds.
Also, it's just nice to know a little bit about people, yes?
BTW, P & A, you can delete "USA" from my account. I'm in Switzerland to stay and I will only ever be back there to see my kids.

Josh 38, Risd grad from 96 ( BFA in painting and illustration) , Been in footwear design since interning at 15, and now design director at Puma. Live in Boston.
Started collecting arts and craft with my dad when I was very young ( used to study old ref books under the covers at night as one would read comics at that age) and my expertise back then was mainly in turn of the century pottery and Roycroft small press. I was a strange kid and very obsessive. Heh.
Also been collecting vintage Japanese toy robots for quite some time, Yoshitoshi prints and was very into vintage Japanese tea ceremony ( influence from father who has had tea garden for 30 years) Lived in Both Hong Kong and Japan in the past , travel a lot for work, and now just draw lots of shoes and collect Mid century and character tins. Eames nut, who buys too many chairs.
Always looking to learn more from everyone here 😉
